Tanzania Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (TCCIA) - Mbeya Region is a private sector association which was established in 1992 after its national establishment in 1998 with the support of the Tanzanian Government to strengthen the private sector. The establishment of the TCCIA was an important step as the Government was moving from centralized, planned economy towards a more open, mixed economy giving full scope to private owned enterprises and farms.
